Meet the Team

A small crew that has spent a long time in Kansas City sewer lines. You will talk to the people who actually do the work.

The People You Will Work With

Dan Koenig

Owner and Lead Technician

Dan grew up in Argentine and has worked underground in Wyandotte County since he was nineteen, first on excavation crews and later running sewer jobs for a large contractor before starting this company. He still runs the camera on most inspections himself because, in his words, the pipe tells you what to do if you bother to look. Off the clock he is usually at a Sporting KC match or fishing at Wyandotte County Lake.

Marcus Villarreal

Field Supervisor, Trenchless and Excavation

Marcus runs the trenchless and excavation crews and is the person who decides how small a pit can be and still get the job done. He came up through pipeline and utility work in the Kansas River bottoms and has more hours on a pipe-bursting rig than anyone else on the team. He lives in Shawnee with his wife and three kids and coaches youth soccer at the Johnson County parks fields on weekends.

Katie Brandt

Service Coordinator

Katie is the voice you hear when you call. She schedules the crews, walks you through what to expect before a visit, and makes sure the written estimate arrives with the camera footage attached. A lifelong Roeland Park resident, she knows the neighborhoods well enough to guess the pipe material from an address. She keeps a garden that the crew jokes is the only yard in town they are not allowed to dig in.

How We Work Together

Every job starts the same way: we listen to what you are seeing, put a camera in the line, and show you what it found. Then you get a written scope that says what the problem is, what we recommend, what it costs, and what the alternatives are, including the ones that cost less. There is no pressure to decide on the spot, and there is no upsell for the sake of it. If the camera shows a healthy pipe that just had a clog, we tell you that and leave.

When we do the work, we pull the permit, call in utility locates, protect the work area, and keep the digging to what the pipe actually needs. We camera the finished repair and run water through it so you can see it flowing before we pack up. And we leave you with a record of what was found and done, so the next person who works on that line, even if it is us in twenty years, knows exactly what is down there.
